A cyclist collided with a truck on the Otterloseweg, the N304, near Ugchelen. The cyclist fell and died on the spot, police said. After the collision, the large red truck came to a stop about 50 meters away.
It is not yet known how it could have happened. The truck driver was taken to the station for questioning. The fire brigade has placed screens around the site of the accident to shield the incident.
The Otterloseweg is completely closed from Hoenderloo in the direction of Apeldoorn. This will certainly take until the beginning of the afternoon due to trace investigation by the traffic accident service.
