SURHUISTERVEEN – A cyclist was hit by a motorist on Blauwhuisterweg around four o’clock on Sunday afternoon.
The accident happened at a crosswalk. Police and ambulance rushed to the scene to assist the victim. The cyclist was treated by paramedics and then taken to hospital by ambulance.
The Forensic Investigation Traffic of the police has launched an investigation into the cause of the accident at the scene.
