A 22-year-old cyclist fell on a bike path in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg and collided with a car driving in the same direction next to her. She suffered severe head injuries and was hospitalized, the police said on Saturday. How it came to the fall on Kastanienallee that night was initially unclear. The woman is said to have lurched on the bike for a still unknown cause. Her blood was drawn in the hospital because she was suspected of being under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
