The North Holland police are looking for witnesses to an accident with a cyclist in the Middenmeer. This morning, a 60-year-old cyclist was found lying on the ground next to his bicycle. The man was unapproachable. Despite the help of paramedics and bystanders, the man died.
Police are looking for witnesses who saw what caused the man to fall. A collision is not expected, a spokesman said. The man may also have died of natural causes. “It’s nice for next of kin to have more clarity on that.”
It happened on a parallel road along a busy road. “Motorists driving by may have seen this happen, but were unable to stop to provide assistance,” the spokesperson said.
