Shortly after 7 p.m., a motorcyclist from Bauma ZH drove on Tösstalstrasse towards Fischenthal ZH, as the Zurich canton police announced in the evening. About 50 meters after the junction with Bahnhofstrasse, his motorcycle collided with the e-bike of a 60-year-old man for reasons not yet known.

The cyclist fell and was seriously injured. He was flown to the hospital in a Rega rescue helicopter. The 19-year-old motorcyclist was also injured and taken to a hospital in an ambulance. On the night of Tuesday, the cyclist succumbed to his serious injuries, as the Zurich canton police announced.
