Rai has acquired, through the EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, the exclusive free-to-air broadcasting rights for Italy of the five editions – from 2026 to 2030 – of the men’s Tour de France, in addition to the men’s and women’s races of the Northern Classics related to Large LoopParis-Roubaix and Liège-Bastogne-Liège, both organized by Amaury Sport Organisation.
This agreement, which extends the existing contract by a further five years until 2025, allows Rai to consolidate its traditional role as Broadcast Eurovision Partner for maximum diffusion, exclusively and unencrypted, of the most prestigious events on the international cycling calendar. All Italian two-wheel enthusiasts will therefore be able to continue to access a wide range of cross-media content on TV and digital on every device and radio.
Furthermore, with the renewal of its contractual partnership relationship with UER and Amaury Sport Organisation, Rai further expands its portfolio of sporting events, in accordance with its Public Service mission, for the benefit of the widest audience of spectators.
