Primoz and the performance team have decided to end an exciting year and begin the offseason immediately », We can read in a short press release published on October 9 on the team’s social networks. After having recently had to abandon twice in a row, during the Tour of Emilia and during the Coppa Bernocchi, the one who will be 35 years old at the end of the month (the 29th) has therefore said stop and will now turn towards 2025 after a happy new year 2024.

Indeed, for his first season under the colors of Red Bull – Bora-Hansgrohe, Roglic has had some great successes recently. After winning a stage on the Tour of the Basque Country, the Slovenian then won the Critérium du Dauphiné last June, having notably been the winner of the 6th and 7th stages of the event. Subsequently, once again forced to abandon the Tour de France (for the third time in four years), the former ski jumper was able to bounce back very well.
