Although there are still several dozen hours to the meeting on CD Projekt’s strategy, players and investors are already living with the news about the future of “Cyberpunk 2077”. On Monday, the company’s shares on the stock exchange skyrocketed after a leak appeared on the internet with a list of future additions to the studio’s latest title. However, there is no official confirmation of this information.

“Cyberpunk 2077” is a game that was both hailed as a huge hit and a failure. Due to a lot of bugs and almost unplayability on weaker older-generation consoles, more than three months have passed since the premiere, the main topic is still not developing the game, but repairing it. Sam “Cyberpunk 2077” does not attract either players as much as a game with such potential should. This can be seen in the CD Projekt stock exchange listing, the company’s shares are now more than half cheaper than just before the premiere.

Players and investors are therefore counting on a new opening and there may be an opportunity for it Tuesday’s CD Projekt conference, where the management board is to announce the company’s plans for the future. Already at the weekend, however, a list of potential extensions of “Cyberpunk 2077” appeared on the web. The source of the leak detected by Reddit users was the Epic Store, and the information is provided by the most important industry websites, including IGN.

According to the leak, players will be able to count on ten free DLC (extensions) for “Cyberpunk 2077”. The names of the two coincide with the titles of the films promoting the game. The full list is as follows:

• Ripperdocs Expansion
• Body Shops Expansion
• Fashion Forward Expansion
• Gangs of Night City
• Body of Chrome
• Rides of the Dark Future
• The Relic
• Neck Deep
• Night City Expansion
• Untitled DLC

In addition to free add-ons, there are three paid DLCs. Their titles, however, have not been disclosed.

It is worth adding that in the aforementioned Reddit entry (already removed by local moderators), the author informs that he has access to the list since February. The list itself has changed in the meantime, for example, the list of free DLCs has dropped from 18 to 10, the aforementioned three paid add-ons were to be added to the list only recently.

This shows that the information should not be taken for granted. Anyway, the source itself requires caution. It is worth emphasizing that we are not talking about official information from the company, but only about rumors. Nevertheless, these rumors in the financial markets are quite significant. This can be seen in the CD Projekt’s quotations, which are up 8% on Monday. up. One of the main topics of investors’ talks on the company’s banking forum there is just the number of DLC.

CD Projekt itself announced that after the release of patch 1.2 (unfortunately delayed and still awaited by players), “Cyberpunk 2077” will be expanded with free DLC. He talked about it, among others Marcin Iwiński, co-founder of the company, in a recording in which he apologized to players for problems with the original version of the game. The details, however, are not known so far and we will most likely know it on Tuesday evening at the company’s conference.
