I don’t think Battlefield 4 lasted that long. That game was also very broken on release (audio just didn’t work at all in the beginning), but after a few months it was much improved.
No Man’s sky is an exception to all the rules, I believe, but even there the improvements were already very large after a year.
The problem with Cyberpunk’s buggyness is that it almost a whole year still not working properly. At least 2 weeks ago I restarted it (on GeForce Now, so on the equivalent of a GTX 2080 PC) and in the first minutes people appeared and disappeared and a car drove through a wall as if the bug-fixing time had stood still for a year. And it doesn’t run very smoothly, even with lower settings.
I hope for last gen console owners that they have had major improvements, but have there really been fundamental improvements on the PC side over the past year?
(because I played it for about 30 hours a month after release, and on PC it was already quite playable and the problems were infrequent enough for me that it was still funny)
