Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.01 Still Causes Pre-Order Bonus Bug for Some Players

A few days ago, Cyberpunk 2077 received update 2.01, which brought many fixes and improvements. However, despite the release of the update, in some cases players still reported problems. As it turns out, there is still a serious bug due to which some players cannot receive the bonus guaranteed when pre-ordering the Phantom Liberty expansion pack.

Yesterday, an error message appeared on the official CD Projekt RED support account regarding the pre-order bonus. It turns out that players are having trouble obtaining the Quadra Sport R-7 Vigilante, which was added to the pre-order when purchasing Phantom Liberty for Xbox Series X|S consoles. The developers said that they are aware of the bug and it will be fixed in the next update.

What exactly else will change in the announced patch, unfortunately, is not yet known. But we can assume that it will likely have a few more improvements and fixes. However, we also don’t know when exactly the patch will be released, so we can only wait for official statements from CD Projekt RED.

In conclusion, it is worth recalling that the developers of Cyberpunk 2077 are planning to release the Ultimate version of the game. During a recent meeting with investors, the topic of a sequel in 2020, which could feature a third-person view, was also raised.
