Cyberpunk 2077 returns to PlayStation Store next week

Cyberpunk 2077 gets its official PlayStation comeback on June 21st. It confirmed CD Project RED with a short press release Tuesday.

The message comes after the game suddenly appeared in the PlayStation Store earlier today. Admittedly, you could not buy it and Sony quickly removed the game again, but now the comeback is a fact.

Removed due to error

Cyberpunk 2077 ble removed from the PlayStation Store just before Christmas, as a result of the game’s problems on PlayStation 4. As Sony explained at the time, it was important that all customers were happy with the products they purchased from the store, and in addition to removing the game, all players were offered a full refund.

Since then, the team has worked to refine the experience, both on PlayStation and other platforms. Several updates have been released, although the process has been somewhat hampered by one extensive data breach by the developer.

CD Projekt has also said that was only 30,000 copies – of a total of 13.7 million sold in December 2020 – which was refunded.
