Released exclusively for the current generation of consoles and PC, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty achieved impressive numbers, according to CD Projekt RED. According to the studio, around 4.3 million copies were sold.
At the PS Store in Brazil, the expansion is being sold for R$159.90. It is also important to highlight that critics highly praised the DLC, especially after the addition of content promised at the launch of the RPG in 2020.
Along with revealing sales performance, the developer released information about the DLC’s estimated “containment rate”, where around 20% of fans continue to have fun in Dogtown.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty left CDPR satisfied
Over the past few months, Cyberpunk 2077 has regained its prestige and CD Projekt RED has redeemed itself with the community. With the commercial success of Phantom Liberty added to this, Adam Kiciński, the company’s executive director, said the following live on the official channel (via VGC):
We are very pleased with the release of Phantom Liberty. The successful launch of the expansion, along with Update 2.0, which introduces a number of additional improvements, takes Night City’s gameplay to another level – in terms of quality. This is an important achievement considering our plans to further develop the franchise.
Cyberpunk 2077 and the Phantom Liberty expansion will be sold as part of the Ultimate Edition. However, the PS5 disc version will have some “drawbacks”. Understand here!
