Developers from CD Projekt at the event Xbox Games Showcase Extendedwhich brought a closer look and information from the games presented at Microsoft’s main conference, showed the previously unseen gameplay footage from the Phantom Liberty data disc for Cyberpunk 2077.
You can watch part of it in the video attached above a new neighborhood called Dogtown, which the developers describe as a living and believable city within a city. The demo specifically shows a short walk through the black market. Dogtown is ruled by a local militia led by Kurt Hansen, who looks set to be one of the expansion’s important characters.
In addition to the new environment, the developers are also inviting completely an overhauled police system, whose behavior should be more dynamic and believable. Other significant innovations compared to the original game include fights and shootouts in vehicles that can be equipped with weapons.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is released on September 26 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. You can also watch a new interview with Keanu Reeves below.
