With all the commotion and the experience of many gamers, it will not surprise me that the game will simply be dropped.

If you read between the lines, it’s just not a very good game. Interaction is tough and the world is not alive. Patches and dlc simply cannot change that, because the core is simply wrong.

Then you can still pull it, but it makes no sense to a dead horse. With all refunds that have been made, this cannot but be a loss-making product. Add to that the negativity surrounding the game. Is it now profitable to make DLCs and further support the game from patches? Bottom line, it will never be the game that people have been waiting for.

To throw in even more money to make it even more loss-making? I do not know. You should actually take whatever is right now and build a new part. Too bad about the 9 years production time, but it is no different.

At least that’s my thought. And if the game is just profitable then of course they just have to release DLCs, but if it is already at a loss and even your patches don’t make the game better, then you just have to draw your conclusions and take your loss.
