Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.3 Released, GPS Navigation Updated

Telset.id, Jakarta – Cyberpunk 2077 developer, CD Projekt Red, has finally announced that it will share an update to Patch 1.3. This patch will bring a number of improvements and new features to the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 will also soon get its first downloadable content (DLC) which will add more content to the game released in December 2020.

As is known, the launch of the Cyberpunk 2077 game itself did not go smoothly because it had experienced several delays due to a number of obstacles.

After years of hype and several delays, Cyberpunk 2077 is finally releasing on PC and consoles—both old and new—in December 2020.

But the excitement of gamers did not last long. Because in the following weeks when players started trying to play it, they also felt disappointed because there were still many bugs and other problems.

Most of the players are disappointed because there are a number of problems with the game, especially on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The players who are annoyed and disappointed hope that the developer can release a patch soon to fix these problems.

In response to many complaints from players, CD Projekt Red as the developer of Cyberpunk 2077 released several new patches and fixes over the next few months.

The patch was released to improve the performance of the game and to some extent. CD Projekt Red released Patch 1.23 last June, to patch a number of bugs that were causing problems in the game. However, the problem has not yet been completely resolved.

That’s why, after getting Patch 1.23 last June, fans can’t wait for the next patch which is said to be coming soon.

Most recently, CD Projekt Red posted on the official Cyberpunk 2077 website that they will be releasing a Patch titled ‘What’s New In Night City?”. This post lays out some of the upcoming changes to Cyberpunk 2077 with Patch 1.3.

For example in-game GPS Navigation has been improved, and players will now be able to view more maps allowing them to better assess upcoming turns.

Players will be able to reset their perks to change their character build, but will incur in-game currency fees. This is a major change shared by the developer, but the full patch notes will be shared soon.

Additionally, the game’s official Twitter account posted a short video clip as a prelude to the upcoming REDstream livestream on Twitch.

Here, they will talk about the changes that Patch 1.3 will bring to Cyberpunk 2077 and also about the first DLC coming to the game. The stream is scheduled for August 17, at 6 p.m. CEST (or roughly 11 p.m. EDT) on Twitch.

As is known, the developer in January had already shared a timeline for improvements and upcoming DLC. At the time, the free DLC was planned much earlier in the year.

However, in February, the company was hit cyber attack which compromised its internal systems and caused the delayed release of Patch 1.2. This is a major delay to the pre-planned content schedule.

It looks like the developers are now ready to release the latest Cyberpunk 2077 patch, although they haven’t announced a definite release date for the upcoming Patch 1.3. [HBS]
