Can’t get enough of Night City after watching the new Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime from Netflix? Well, you’re in luck, chumba. Cyberpunk: 2077 is currently on sale with 50% off on Steam, Playstation and Xbox. This discount shouldn’t come as a surprise with the release of the highly anticipated anime. Also, the game recently received update 1.6.
Despite a controversial launch due to many bugs and glitches, it has recently received a resurgence due to constant updates and a next-generation version that was released earlier this year. Gamers who purchased the game on PS4 and Xbox One received a free upgrade to the next generation version.
CD Projekt Red also announced that Cyberpunk will finally receive the DLC titled Cyberpunk: Phantom Liberty next year, although the developers have confirmed that the content will not arrive on PS4 and Xbox One. Since the original game struggled with previous generation consoles, it’s safe to assume the publisher didn’t want another controversial DLC launch.
Overall, it looks like the game is finally living up to many players’ expectations, although it will never become the RPG / immersive game we’ve all been waiting for.
