Cyberpunk 2077 developer denies reason for delay due to Xbox One: DailyGame

Cyberpunk 2077 has a chance to become one that is above everything, although there are a lot of very big games this year.

The game was originally scheduled to come out in April in a few months, but had to accept a delay until September. Rumors circulated that much of the The reason for the delay is poor performance in the Xbox One version of the game was. Now it seems that one of the developers has poured cold water over this theory, this rumor.

Cory Balrog, the director of God of War, recently tweeted an article about the rumor, claiming that it was actually common for a game to run very badly on any system before gold was finally released. A CD project Red developer has substantiated this claim:

“Cory Barlog hit the nail on the head,” he wrote. “Of course we optimize for Xbox One, Playstation and PC, because that’s what you do in the last stages of game development. While the game is being made, a lot of things are not optimized because they are all in flux, changing and still not finished. ”

“Answers as simple as’ You got the game because of it [System] Delayed X might make for a good rumor, but it doesn’t contain much truth. There are always many reasons. Among them, and I can speak for myself by simply fixing bugs so that the game is as good as possible. No hidden plans, just working to make the game better. ”

Ultimately, the game only seemed to need more time in the oven and it wasn’t about a particular system.
