Third-party developers can also make use of this feature and CD Projekt RED has now given rise to a particularly well-known studio. “Players should never be forced to buy a game twice or pay for upgrades. Cyberpunk 2077 owners of Xbox One will receive the Xbox Series X upgrade free of charge when it becomes available,” the developers said twitter.
This confirms that Cyberpunk 2077 will also be optimized for Microsoft’s next-gen console and will therefore be noticeably more opulent. It is not improbable that a corresponding upgrade is also planned on the PS5, but this is not officially confirmed at first.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on September 17th, 2020 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
