Cyber Attack on Crimean Cable Channels: Ukrainian Ministry of Defense Video Broadcasted Instead of Regular Shows

The broadcast of a row cable channels in Crimea was hacked. Instead of the usual broadcasts, a video of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense about a counterattack was broadcast.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, referring to local Telegram channels.

“The broadcasts of a number of Crimean cable operators were interrupted. The interruption of the signal continues,” the Russian Telegram channels reported.

Hackers began to broadcast videos of the Ministry of Defense instead of the usual shows and films, and now Crimeans know that the plans love silence.

The Ministry of Defense in Kyiv said today that it will not follow announcing the start of counteroffensive actions by our soldiers at the front.

“Plans love silence. There will be no launch announcement,” Deputy Defense Minister Anna Mallyar wrote.
