The Fimucs organization has tried to keep the date of celebration until the last minute, but the time restrictions and perimeter closures by Covid-19 as well as “the logistical difficulties that this health situation generates” have forced the first edition to be postponed to days November 19 and 20 at 7:00 p.m., again at the Cartuja Center.
As originally planned, it will be held within the framework of the Seville Film Festival. As of Tuesday, March 2, the people who have purchased tickets for the concerts will be informed about the procedure for returning the amount of the same, as indicated in a statement by the organization.
People who want to attend this activity in November must make a new purchase as the first ticket purchased will not be exchangeable.
Regarding the rest of the activities planned for the festival, the organizers will contact those interested to inform them of the different options.
CHAMBER MUSIC CYCLE
On the other hand, the VII concert of the Chamber Music cycle entitled ‘Film Music. The image of music. Sonatas y tríos’ where works by Nino Rota will be performed will continue to be held as planned next Sunday, March 7, at 12.00, at Espacio Turina.
The Fimucs organization regrets not being able to carry out this first edition of Fimucs on the scheduled date. “Despite the multiple attempts to make it go ahead, we believe that it is better to postpone it for all those involved in this exciting project as well as for the public in general,” they have argued from Fimucs, while they hope that in November the epidemiological situation will allow its celebration “with normality” and that it be “as Seville deserves, a complete success”.
