The Minister of Health, Julio García Comesaña, confirmed that this Tuesday 18, “as promised and committed”, the fourth dose vaccination against covid-19 begins in the reference centers for those people who “could not or did not I want to “go to the vaccination centers.
Comesaña reported that a total of 173,000 people over the age of 60 have been vaccinated in Galicia with the fourth dose against covid, of which 151,000 have passed through vaccination centers. At home, 2,400 people received the dose.
According to the schedule prepared by the Department of the Ministry of Health, on Monday 17 the vaccination of the age group between 80 and 84 years was completed and, this Tuesday, all those people over the age of 85 who did not receive the dose covid-19 recall.
The vaccination of the population between 70 and 79 years old also began at the mass points, as recalled by the head of Health.
COMPLAINT
As for the flu vaccination in people over the age of 60, the Minister highlighted that 94.6% of users accepted the joint administration of the flu vaccine and covid-19. “Very significant and important data,” he stressed.
Comesaña made these statements at the press conference to present the project of the Multipurpose Tower for the new hospital complex in A Coruña (Chuac).
