Cuts and Additions to Brazil’s National Team Squad for South American Qualifiers

The CBF announced this Friday two more cuts to the list of players called up by Fernando Diniz for the next commitments in the South American qualifiers. Vanderson, from Monaco, and Renan Lodi, from Olympique de Marseille, left, and Yan Couto, from Girona, and Carlos Augusto, from Inter Milan, entered.

The decision to change sides came from a conversation between the team’s doctor, Rodrigo Lasmar, and the respective clubs. Diniz had already lost two players to injury previously: Caio Henrique, Monaco’s left-back replaced by Guilherme Arana, and Raphinha, Barcelona’s forward who gave way to David Neres.
