Utrecht seniors who have to go to Houten or Zeist for a jab should not be allowed. That is the opinion of Maartje Vermeulen (GroenLinks), Hester Assen (PvdA) and Victor Paalman (Horizon). They asked alderman Eelco Eerenberg (D66) questions yesterday. “If I have to go to Zeist for that jab, I won’t go,” they paraphrased the 70+ year olds who received a call. According to the three, there is also a jab location in Overvecht, but it is difficult to reach. “This means that vulnerable Utrecht residents in particular are not well protected against corona,” the three say.
