\Islamabad: Pakistan announced strict spending cuts as the financial crisis worsened. The government of Pakistan has taken the decision to cut the salaries of ministers. The Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif decided to cut the salaries of the ministers.

The Pakistani delegation arrived in Kabul, the Afghan capital, with the demand that Pakistan should help suppress the terrorist groups such as the Taliban and the Islamic State. The team is headed by Pakistan’s Defense Minister Kaja Asif. Talks were held with Afghan Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Ghani Baradar. Pakistan believes that terrorist groups in Afghanistan are behind the continuous terrorist attacks in Pakistan. The discussion is in this context. Pakistan also complains that the Taliban regime in Afghanistan is supporting the Pakistani Taliban.
