Since mid-July, the managers of the Carrefour banners have posted their mobile phone numbers at the entrance to the stores. An initiative that makes it possible to “humanize the relationship with customers”, explains Le Parisien.
For a month, under the leadership of the new general manager of Carrefour France, Rami Baitiéh, the bosses of Carrefour hypermarkets and supermarkets must display their mobile phone number at the entrance of stores, reports The Parisian. The objective of this device is “to humanize the relationship with customers so as to have closer, direct and rapid contact”, explained a hypermarket manager to our colleagues.
“At first, I told myself that I was going to have calls every minute to tell me that a particular product was missing on the shelf. But ultimately, not that much ”, tells the owner of the Sartrouville hypermarket (Yvelines) at Parisian, specifying that he currently receives only one or two calls per day on average. ” It’s the holidays. At the start of the school year, it will surely be more. But for now, in any case, people are very respectful ”.
