Frank Siragusa, a disgruntled New Yorker, has filed a lawsuit against Taco Bell, the American fast food giant. This customer claims to have been disappointed by his pizza, which did not fully correspond to the one he had ordered.
Of the “unfair and deceptive business practices”
In September 2022, Frank Siragusaa resident of New Yorkordered a Mexican pizza from Taco Bella string of fast-food American. However, the product he was served did not correspond at all to what he had seen in the advertisement. His pizza was less topped compared to the contractual images which showed it to be much more filling. Very disappointed, the customer sued for “unfair and deceptive business practices”reports the Washington Post.
A lawsuit against Taco Bell
Frank Siragusa expressed his outrage at the Brooklyn Federal Prosecutor’s Office over the $5.49 price he paid for a pizza deemed far from worth that amount. To substantiate his complaint, he presented photos of the pizza taco proving that the topping was far below what was shown in the advertising visuals of Taco Bell. Other customers who felt cheated by the enticing presentation of products in the chain’s advertisements fast-food supported him.
More than $5 million in compensation claimed
