Cus Napoli loses at home with the final result of 2-4 against Real Saviano C5.
In the early stages of the game, the guests had two scoring opportunities, with Scognamiglio being ready and fending off the dangers coming his way. In the second half Cus Napoli started well and with Porzio hit another post. The guests did not sit idly by and challenged Scognamiglio several times with strong shots well aimed towards the goal. In the 40th minute Real Saviano C5 doubled their lead with a long-range shot which was deflected by a Cus Napoli defender and wrong-footed Scognamiglio. The guests take advantage of the locals’ moment of disorientation and in quick succession the third and fourth goals arrive which bring the result to 0-4. Despite the heavy deficit, Cus Napoli continues to grind out the game and doesn’t take advantage of many scoring opportunities. In the 48th minute Porzio, well served by Testa, made it 1-4 and lit a small flame of possibility of recovering the match. Shortly afterwards Cus Napoli tries with Mazzocchi and De Lucia but their attempts end far from the target. In the 57th minute Testa hits a sure shot but on the line he finds opposition from an opposing soccer player with his hand. The referee without any doubt decrees the penalty kick and sends off the Real soccer player Saviano C5. Captain Giacalone appears from the spot and makes no mistakes and brings Cus Napoli to -2. In the tense final, Cus Napoli had a great opportunity with a header from Mazzocchi, which was saved by the visiting goalkeeper. After 4 minutes of added time the referee blew his whistle three times and the match ended with a score of 2-4.
