Curricula of the individual subjects – WFO Merano – Business School

As a result of the school reform in 2010 (LG No. 11 of September 24, 2010), the previous curricula were replaced by framework guidelines of the Province of South Tyrol. These were amended by the introduction of the “Interdisciplinary Learning Area of Social Education” by BLR No. 244 of April 7, 2020. The framework guidelines form the binding reference framework for the creation of the curriculum of the autonomous school. They specify the target competencies of the final year and also define the respective competencies for the various biennial and final year. The concept of competence includes not only acquired knowledge, but also abilities, skills, attitudes and values.

The relationship between the framework guidelines and the school curriculum can be described as follows: The school curriculum represents the link between the framework guidelines and the teaching activities at the individual school and creates transparency for students and their families with regard to requirements and expectations. The school specifies the competency goals, defines the corresponding content and describes possible modalities and time periods for implementation.
