QDirector Vasudev Sanal said that ‘Haya’ is a film which takes a creative approach to the recurring background of Nayappaka and subsequent murders. The director says this is not only a film of the campus but also of the era. He was talking to reporters at the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club.
Haya directed by Vasudev Sanal was released in theaters on 25th November. The story, script and dialogues of this college thriller starring twenty four freshmen were written by journalist Manoj Bharti.
The film stars Guru Somasundaram in the lead role along with Shambhu Menon, social media celebrities Chaitanya Prakash, Bharat & Akshaya Udayakumar along with Indrans, Johnny Antony, Lal Jose, Sreedhanya, Srikanth Murali, Laya Simpson, Kottayam Ramesh, Biju Pappan , Sreeraj, Sunny Sariga, Vijayan Karanthur and others had achieved the roles.

Music by Varun Sun of the Masala Coffee Band. Santosh Verma, Manu Manjit, Prof. PN The songs were written by Unnikrishnan Potti, Lakshmi Menon and Satish Idamannel. The singers are KS Chitra, Juan Fernandez, Rashmi Satish, Aslam Abdul Majeed, Varun Sunil, Binu Sariga and Vishnu Sunil.
