The developers of Horizon Forbidden West have recently given a series of interviews to various foreign media. In addition to many other pieces of information, they also answered a question from Hardware Zone magazine about how exactly they are currently with the development and completion of the game. Mathijs de Jonge (Game Director) said:
“We have successfully completed our Beta milestone, which is a long way off. So now we are in the last stages of development. So now we’re embellishing the game and fixing bugs. We also close certain aspects of the game, for example some machines are behind schedule – because it takes an enormous amount of time to produce them. We are also working on the latest movie. So we’re really finishing. Of course, there is still a lot left with a game of this size and scope, but we are in the final stages. “
