A man who entered an unlit karaoke room was caught by the police, but it turned out that he was now a police officer.
What’s even more shocking is that this police officer’s DNA was found to match the DNA of an uncaught sexual assault suspect 13 years ago.

Last May, around 6 in the morning, a man with a hat pulled down with his arms crossed over his head entered a karaoke bar.
A man enters an empty karaoke bar after closing and leaves the karaoke room about 3 hours later, around 9am.
The owner of the karaoke bar noticed something strange after coming to work that same evening.

“I was going to work, and when I opened the door and came in, there was a light on in the last room I drank this from a bottle of water…”
After receiving a report from the business owner, the police began to track down the man based on the man’s DNA on the water bottle.
As a result of comparative analysis of DNA databases, this man’s DNA was identical to the DNA of a suspect from a sexual assault case that happened in Gangnam, Seoul 13 years ago.
At the time, the suspect carefully erased all traces of himself immediately after committing the crime, so it remained an unsolved case for a long time.
The suspect who was arrested after three months of CCTV surveillance and other findings was a current police officer and a lieutenant from the mobile unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.
At the time of the sexual assault, he was a member of the Blue House Guard, which was responsible for protecting the President.
For 13 years, the suspect of sexual assault had worked as a police officer.
The man, who was released from his job and arrested, said he did not remember the home invasion charge because he was drunk.
However, he is reportedly refusing to make a statement regarding the sexual assault charges, etc., and prosecutors are making additional inquiries and also looking into other crimes, including links to other unresolved issues.
