Dusseldorf. For Düsseldorf, 5 new infections with the corona virus were registered by the State Center for Health (LZG) for the state capital on Wednesday.
As of today, a total of 25,160 Düsseldorf residents have been diagnosed with an infection with the coronavirus. The city administration will also provide information about this. The State Center Health NRW states that an estimated 110 people in Düsseldorf are currently infected.
According to the LZG, an estimated 24,600 citizens have now recovered. 425 (+/- 0) people who were infected with the corona virus have died in Düsseldorf so far.
According to the city, 14 of the infected are treated in hospitals, 5 of them in the intensive care unit.
According to information from the Landeszentrum Gesundheit, the seven-day incidence in Düsseldorf is currently 8.5 – this value indicates the number of infections that have become known in the last seven days per 100,000 inhabitants.
The city also announced: On June 22nd, 5 smears were taken in the city’s diagnostic practice. A total of 36 smears were taken in the urban drive-in test center. In addition, there are 30 additional cuts made by the mobile service.
A total of 137,408 swabs have been made so far in the two municipal facilities and through the mobile service.
Corona vaccination numbers for Düsseldorf
On June 22nd, according to the Düsseldorf city administration, 3,043 people were vaccinated in the municipal vaccination center and by mobile teams. These include 1,337 people who received their first vaccination and 1,706 people who received their second vaccination.
Since December 27th, 329,054 people have been vaccinated in Düsseldorf, of which 211,515 received their first and second vaccinations. A total of 540,569 vaccinations have been carried out to date.
