The German Hospital Society provides information on the current bed occupancy status of confirmed, inpatient COVID-19 patients in Germany’s hospitals. The update takes place on working days at around 2 p.m. This is the data from the previous day, since some of the country-specific data sources only published the occupancy data one day later. Since the infection process is very dynamic, the data may differ from other publications.
This overview is continuously being developed and supplemented.
For an automated data query, the static link https://www.dkgev.de/belegungsmonitoring/csv-gesamt gives you direct access to a csv file with the current occupancy figures – broken down by federal states as well as normal and intensive care units.
Since June 1, 2022, the occupancy figures in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania are no longer collected and are therefore no longer included in the nationwide results.
