Bandai Namco Entertainment and Nintendo have had a close cooperation for years: For example, the Japanese company was the most successful (Mario Kart 8 Deluxe) and the second most successful Nintendo Switch game (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate). All the more surprising is the news that via the US Twitter account from Bandai Namco recently following criticism of Animal Crossing: New Horizons was expressed:
Nintendo has seriously developed Animal Crossing so that you can only have one island per switch ?! That different users are forced to fight for resources? Also a way to make this an ugly experience.

It is speculated that one of the Bandai Namco employees was accidentally logged in with the company account instead of the private account and this carelessness was the trigger for the Hoppala. So far, there has been no official statement from Bandai Namco.
