Cura, “Never alone again”: the App to be closer and more connected to assisted people and their families

ROMA – The future of welfare is digital and supportive: the cooperatives of Innovainrete which tomorrow, 7 November, at an event to be held in Rome, at Cantiere Infanzia (via Molfetta 30) in the Quarticciolo area, will present, as part of the new campaign “Never alone again“, to operators and recipients of services the platform “Help”, a new digital support that uses Artificial Intelligence for “Scheduled, Personalized and Integrated Assistance”. The platform will allow cooperative operators to Innovainrete to be closer and more connected to the people assisted and their families. It will include a “direct” dialogue between operators and assisted people, and after the end of the first testing phase, the remote management of appointments, activities, tele-consultations and monitoring of vital parameters.

Why “Appi” and how it works. The digital platform “Appi – Assistance, Scheduled, Personalized and Integrated” takes the name of the acronym “App”, which indicates digital applications, but also wants to recall the English adjective “happy”, because it allows a closer and more positive relationship between the operators and the people taken care of. Thanks to this platform the operators of Innovainrete they will be able to easily start a video call with a person assisted from their tablet or digital device. The Platform automatically compiles a detailed report relating to the people assisted, with access to their information and personal folder, respecting privacy. It is possible to consult the history of actions carried out and video calls made and received, as well as, potentially, access documentation such as reports and prescriptions.

Everything you can do with the platform. During video calls, operators can book new appointments, quickly access the patient’s documentation, write down recommendations and take notes directly from the platform. The transcript of the conversation between the operator and the patient, processed by artificial intelligence, is recorded for future reference. The Platform is designed to translate, thanks to the integration of Artificial Intelligence, the transcript of the conversation into Italian in the event that the patient is of another nationality. But that’s not all: the Platform is able to analyze and collect ‘sentiment’ data in exchanges between the operator and the patient, to improve the relationship and its effectiveness.

Never alone again, with Innovainrete

Social cooperatives. Innovainrete is a project of the social cooperatives Arca di Noè, Il Brutto Anatroccolo, Cospexa, H-Anno Zero, Idea Prisma 82, Magliana Solidale, Meta, Nuove Rispetti, Il Piccolo Principe, Prassi e Ricerca. It involves around 676 partners (other social enterprises, third sector associations and structures, schools, universities, parishes and private companies). It is present widely in all municipal areas and in various areas of Lazio. It employs 2,700 workers with different areas of specialization and can count on around 500 volunteers. It intervenes directly on the needs of around 8 thousand people with potential benefits for around 24 thousand families.
