The Cupra Terramar will become the brand’s last model to be available with an internal combustion engine.
In 2024, the Spanish sports car manufacturer is preparing to launch the brand’s largest crossover, the Terramar, which will also be the last model to be equipped with an internal combustion engine before Cupra switches to fully electric vehicles.
The length of Terramar will be 4.5 m, which is 5 and 12 cm more than Formentor and Ateca. Visually, the new crossover will retain the brand’s traditional features – sharp edges and finish with copper-colored elements.
The range of combustion engines has not yet been revealed, so it is not known whether the Terramar will also be available with the Formentor and Leon 2.0-liter engines with 190, 245 or 310 hp, or whether the brand will also offer other, more powerful (or electrified, such as the Mild Hybrid) engines. aggregates, but it is known for sure that it will be offered with a rechargeable Plug-in hybrid device, which will ensure a range of up to 100 km in full electric mode.
Cupra Terramar will reach buyers in 2024.
It should be noted that in the coming months (and years) Cupra will come out with several new products, including the electric Tavascan and UrbanRebel, as well as the latest Leon and Formentor models.
