A separate sports brand attracts its new product. In two years, Cupra will present another, largest SUV to date.

Years ago, Cupra broke away from Seat and became a separate sports brand. At first, it modified Seata’s production cars, creating, for example, the Cupra Ateca or the Cupra Leon. Later, however, it launched its own products, such as the stylish crossover Cupra Formentor, which has no other equivalent in the group. What’s more, the Spaniards can’t see him they will also offer it with a five-cylinder borrowed from Audi.

The range of models was then expanded by the purely electric hatchback Cupra Born. Although the brand’s palette is beginning to be diverse, it certainly does not end with expansion. Now the company has confirmed that it is preparing another, the largest SUV so far. It should be about 4.5 meters long, so it will outgrow not only the Atec (4386 mm), but probably also the Formentor (4450 mm).

The technical details remain a mystery for the time being. However, Cupra reveals in an official report that we can look forward to a variety of drives, including mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions. While in the first case it will be an internal combustion engine with a small, almost imperceptible electrical assistance, the second version will be recharged externally and is said to manage up to 100 kilometers on electricity.
