The official representative of Cupra cars in Latvia announced on Wednesday the opening of the car rental platform Cupra Drive. It was created in cooperation with MyBee, which is already known as a long-term car rental platform in Latvia. Cupra Drive will eventually include all current Cupra models in various versions, but currently the model range includes the Cupra Leon Sportstourer and Cupra Formentor.
Car rental is available for individuals and companies with a contract term of 6 to 60 months. After the end of the lease term, you can choose to lease another car or continue a new contract with the existing car. Cupra Drive also offers to buy the car after the end of the rental period.
When registering on the platform for the first time, individuals can get the car at any time of the day immediately after successful identity verification. On the other hand, the car will initially be available for business customers only on working days. Car unlocking takes place with the help of a mobile application, but the car key and documents will already be in the selected car. After concluding the contract, the rented car can be picked up either at the Cupra Drive parking lot on Krasta street or at the Kurbads parking lot on Mazjumpravas street. The company promises the possibility to order and rent a car in a specific configuration, but then you will be able to get the car in about 4 months.
The current Cupra Drive offer includes:
Cupra Leon Sporstourer and Cupra Formentor with 1.5 TSI 150 HP petrol engine starting from 380 EUR per month; Cupra Formentor with 1.5 TSI 150 HP petrol engine starting from 384 EUR per month; All-wheel drive Cupra Formentor VZ with 2.0 TSI 310 HP petrol engine starting from 531 EUR per month.
However, it should be taken into account that when concluding the contract, customers will have to make a prepayment of at least EUR 1000, depending on the chosen car, the rental period and the mileage limit period. In addition, mandatory additional payments of 96.65 EUR per month for insurance and 35 EUR per month for tire service and a one-time payment of 150 EUR for concluding the contract must also be made. In addition, it is possible to choose to pay extra for technical support starting from 10 EUR per month – for car maintenance, as well as for wearing parts, such as blocks, brake discs, windshield wipers, light bulbs, replacement.
