The Italian Serie A could have had a new number two after Wednesday night, but Lazio left the chance to pass Internazionale. The Romans should then have defeated Verona, but at home, Lazio did not get further than a bloodless 0-0. As a result, the gap with Inter remains one point and the leader Juventus is four points ahead of the blues from Rome.
