After almost two months of absence from the fields, the athletes and the staff of the youth sector of the Wedge volley they returned to train together with PalaITIS. After the DPCM in early November, the doors of the gymnasium for the Cuneo nursery had closed, which nevertheless never stopped. All the coaches, from Under 13 to Serie C, held weekly online sessions with group training, in order to keep the boys active, but above all to continue to team up.
The Head of the Youth Sector Daniele Vergnaghi: «We are happy as the Cuneo youth sector to have resumed training in presence at full speed. Let’s start from the safety in the gym, the seriousness and enthusiasm of our boys who, from the very first training sessions, have shown themselves to be hungry for sports and relationships with other teammates. In the short period of interruption we tried to give continuity to the activity with online training and outdoor running sessions. I think our kids’ families appreciated the efforts made to keep them fit in mind and body. We strongly believe in the values of sport and we hope for a slow and gradual return to normality in all fields. Come on Cuneo and live sport! “.

It was our priority to restore some normalcy to the daily lives of our young athletes. We are among the few companies that at the moment have managed to resume activities at full capacity and this is a source of pride for us. The FIPAV announced the new men’s Serie C calendar, with a reduction in registrations due to the difficulties of the Clubs following the emergency, which sees the kick-off date on Saturday 6 February, the Cuneo team will take the field away to Alba at 20.30 for the match Mercatò Alba VS BAM Mercatò Cuneo. The two Under 17 teams, the three Under 15 teams and the Under 13 team continue the training phase and the seasonal path, waiting to know the rest.
