The lava flow that runs further northwest from the Cumbre Vieja volcano, reached the La Laguna-Todoque Municipal Soccer Field this morning. It is a sports facility much loved by the palmeros since, in that place, juThe historic CD Argual played for decades. In addition, last season it was shared by three clubs in the area: CD Argual, CD Tanqueta and UD Fuencaliente.

It was 5:50 am this morning when the lava reached the Soccer Field. Hours before, the General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands, forced to evacuate the area between the south of the Camino de La Cruz Chica at the junction with Camino Los Campitos, following Camino Morro Cabrito until reaching LP2, affecting a fifteen people.

All the evacuees had until 00:00 hours to go to the Camino León de Los Llanos de Aridane Fighting Camp, declared a meeting point. In addition, the authorities have explained to the evictees that if they could not collect their belongings, they will be able to do so in the next few days.
