The current music scene of La Vapeur presented us with its programming for this new cultural season. A season full of events but also of programming. Regional artists or artists on the front of the French scene, everyone will find a concert concert that suits them.
Music and early childhood
On 03, 04 and 05 November La Vapeur offers a highlight for the little ones (0 to 3 years old) and their families with two shows to discover in the partner nurseries in Dijon and in La Vapeur!

At the same time, children, their families and early childhood professionals in Dijon will be able to discover and try “Tapiti”, a wake-up mat for very young children, designed by the Kogümi collective.
Accompaniment
Vapeur considers the support and enhancement of amateur and professional practices as a priority within the artistic action. The team wants to position La Vapeur as a place of local resources and open up the possibilities of help more widely by welcoming all musicians who want it. The team is therefore available to advise, guide and support all musicians established in the Côte d’Or, having a creative approach so that they benefit from support in their work and in the development of their musical project. .
Residence
Since the primary meaning of its action is to allow artists to perform on stage and distribute their works, La Vapeur welcomes artists in residence in its spaces to offer them the best conditions for creation.
The residencies cover both amateur and professional artists, regional, national or international.

Access to the stage
The Vapeur promotes access to the stage and offers regional groups the opportunity to play in optimal technical conditions, particularly in arrangements such as “Support Your Local Band” or “Grand bain” evenings or as the first part of confirmed artists.
Cultural mediation
Arnoud, Cyrielle, Eloise, Jean-François and Nastassja tell us about their childhood, the encounters and events that marked their lives, but also the obstacles they had to face to pursue their dreams.
These intimate and touching stories, told at the height of a child, outline a journey that goes from birth, through the abandonment of a neighborhood, the arrival in a new country, to the desire to go far into space or to get closer to animal souls.
Using an original device and innovative processes, Elie Blanchard and Victoria Follonier create a live show at the crossroads of documentaries, animated films and new technologies. They organize animated words and images, manipulate drawings and immerse us in surprising soundscapes.
Poetic and experimental at the same time, Quitter son pebble is a leap in the imagination that opens up to the other, to difference, to give children, in turn, the desire to take a step into the unknown, jumps from pebble to pebble.
Workshop and training
The realization of projects in the contemporary music sector requires knowledge and knowledge dictated by the evolution of practices, technologies and regulations of the performing arts, and training is an important theme and represents a real lever for the professionalization of artists, for this reason La Vapeur is committed and offers every quarter to musicians, managers and managers, managers of amateur or professional associations, training, meetings, practical or theoretical workshops supervised by professionals.
