Many times we question the concept of art, as well as its function for the development of our society and our environment. In this way, when understanding this concept as that set of expressions, ideas, feelings, opinions or points of view that usually converge in historical moments or contexts, we can glimpse through its production the projection of different realities and social contexts that through of images has shown us those stories of society that reflect various cultural and artistic movements that carry deep political, economic and legal charges.
We must understand art as an inalienable element to the human being who, in turn, keeps an intimate relationship with the law, the perspective of human rights and the free development of the personality being essential for its understanding. So there is a permanent obligation on the part of the Mexican State to comply with the guarantee of its access and the rest of its benefits for the entire population.
However, along with this responsibility, incentives must be created that allow artists to have all the means to develop in a dignified way, continue creating and building, because thanks to them we will be able to count on societies with greater roots, tolerance and strength in the face of various adversities that we live. Therefore, despite the fact that there is an entire regulatory framework on the subject, there are still many pending issues to be resolved in order to raise awareness of the population on the matter.
On the other hand, the role of educational institutions is emerging as one of the best alternatives to provide the necessary tools and techniques to artists and creators, both in their training, expression, appreciation and in the subsequent awareness for generate aesthetic experience with a social sense.
Art must integrate the medium that unifies us as a society with a view to the inclusion of all classes and the breaking of prevailing schemes and stereotypes, such as believing that adequate clothing is an essential requirement to access a museum or gallery.
Understanding art and design as an aesthetic production, which in turn contributes to the development of patrimonial character at the national level, should also encourage research areas, in such a way that it serves as a liberation tool and a device that allow the transformation of society in its different dimensions to improve education, guarantee sensitivity and promote empathy in a society that tends to reduce inequalities and to seek happiness.
