Color, culture and tradition arrived in Seville, Spain, with the inauguration of the traditional “April Fair”, in the early hours of this Sunday the 14th, with the lighting of the structure called “April Customs”.
In this edition, a total of 25,000 light bulbs have illuminated the main entrance of the fairgrounds, 7,000 more than in 2023. The structure has been designed by the Italian architect Davide Gambini, and has a height of 39 meters high, 47 meters high. wide and 6 meters deep.
Andrea, Grecia, Guillermo and Nacho are a group of young people who happily expressed that the fair represents their culture, in addition to promoting passion for the identity of Seville, for them it is a unique style. Especially in the case of women who stand out for the glamor and elegance of their clothing.
“On this occasion she wore a white flamenco dress, a lace shawl with embroidery, my comb, my hair flower, as well as my fan that women cannot be without,” Andrea explained.
While Grecia mentioned that although she is of Venezuelan origin, the tradition is in her blood, it is for this reason that for this fair she has designated the use of three dresses.
The fair, which began with a commercial purpose, for the sale and purchase of livestock in 1965, today has a more social focus, where the hospitality service also has the opportunity to present its best gastronomy to the national and international public.
In terms of security, it is guaranteed by the Local Police, the Civil Guard and now supported by Artificial Intelligence, which is deployed throughout Seville, since it is a protocol that must be guaranteed 24 hours a day, by land and by area. .
Reports from the Seville airport indicate that during this week about 887 flights will be received, 57.8% more than last year.
