The Cultural Affairs Department steers and implements cultural policy in Massy. For this, it relies on the network of media libraries, the conservatory, the SMAC Paul B, the Opéra de Massy and the Orchester de l’Opéra, the Cinémassy, local spaces, a whole network of cultural associations and or working in other fields and various partners including the Center Pompidou. This one which will establish its reserves in Massy in 2025 with within it a space open to the public. With 33 school groups, i.e. more than 6,000 pupils in kindergarten and elementary, soon 4 colleges and 3 high schools, the city is very committed to the EAC. In particular, the DAC has carried a CLEA for 7 years, which the towns of Antony and Verrières le Buisson joined this year. Very close to the Plateau de Saclay, the city is committed to scientific culture and wishes to develop strong links with students and researchers from the Plateau.

Job Description

MISSIONS

Under the direct responsibility of the director of cultural affairs, you supervise a team of 2 people, a visual arts development officer and an arts and science mediation apprentice. You are supported by the administrative and financial manager of the management and in permanent contact with the PR and cultural actions managers of cultural facilities.
Within a budgetary, temporal and artistic framework defined by the DAC, the production manager will be responsible for:

Design and monitoring of cultural and artistic projects:
o Content, development and monitoring of the budget, collection of the elements necessary for the realization of contracts, subsidies or other, implementation and evaluation.
o Prepares and coordinates the technical and human resources of several projects. These projects are cross-functional and bring together different partners: municipal or associative cultural venues, city departments, social structures, others, etc.
o Animation and support for the projects of associations linked to culture.
o Force of proposal, he or she designs the biennial Massyrama event under the responsibility of the DAC and in connection with various partners of the event (cultural places in the municipality, artists and collectives from Massic and non-Massian…).

Artistic and Cultural Education:
o For the projects of the DAC or for those of partner facilities, you design and implement EAC actions allowing the meeting between artists, works and inhabitants. You advise the visual arts development officer for the projects for which she is responsible (Artists’ Fair, CLEA, etc.) and support her in their implementation.

Communication :
o In connection with the communication department of the city, you design and implement the campaigns and communication actions necessary for the promotion of projects, or even mediation actions
o Development and follow-up of partnerships, animation of the local cultural network, monitoring.
