NUEVA YORK — New York City Restaurant Week, o New York City Restaurant WeekA time-honored tradition on the Big Apple food scene, he will blow the house when he returns this month, offering five weeks of dining and new tiered pricing options.
The event returns with an in-person dinner for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic hit, hitting the city’s restaurant industry especially hard. This year’s first iteration of NYC Restaurant Week featured takeout-only food, but still featured one of the biggest events in its history.
“Our first takeout and home delivery program became our largest gastronomic initiative to date, with more than 800 participants from all five boroughs,” according to the city website.
Lower COVID-19 cases and a significant boost to vaccine distribution in the city have helped eliminate essentially all public health restrictions and allowed the event to once again promote indoor dining rooms. For those who still prefer takeout, participating restaurants will once again offer this option.
NYC Restaurant Week runs from July 19 to August 22 at more than 500 restaurants across the five boroughs, from fine dining to casual dining.
This time, participating restaurants will provide a main course and at least one side for lunch and / or dinner for the price of $ 21 or $ 39. Diners can sample exclusive new dining experiences priced at $ 125 for three or more courses.
