‘Tell me’ again fires one of his legendary actors: Francisco Merino died at 91 years after suffering a long time from a degenerative disease. It was the Union of Actors and Actresses that announced this sad loss.
As we said, Paco, as he was more affectionately called, had been retired from the public scene for years due to a degenerative disease. But we will always remember him for his doctor character Don Vincenzo in the now more than legendary TV series ‘Cuéntame’
But Francisco was already a veteran of Spanish television and starred in other famous series of the network such as ‘Águila Roja’, ‘Al filo de la ley’, ‘La regenta’, ‘Curro Jiménez’ or ‘Cuentos y leyendas’.
Merino not only made his television debut but has also worked in the theater for many years, and 50 years of professional experience go a long way. So TVE said goodbye to the actor, with a video memory of his many works in the interpretation:
