Jurist Carlos Mejías, who heads the law firm Mejias & Associates, is calling on all Cuban citizens in the United States who have a Form I-220A to join a class action lawsuit against the United States immigration system. Joined.

Class A: Credible Fear
- In this category are all Cuban immigrants who demonstrated credible fear upon entering the US, but were still admitted with an I-220A instead of an parole humanitarian.
Class B: Admission Applicant
- This category includes Cuban immigrants who were unable to demonstrate credible fear (or were not interviewed for credible fear) upon entering the US and received an I-220A.
Class C: Victims of Family Separation
- In this category are Cubans who entered the United States with their immediate family members and were admitted with an I-220A, but the rest of their family members did receive an I-220A. parole humanitarian. This group also includes those who received a parole while their loved ones don’t.
