The Texas Department of Public Safety revealed that a group of 19 migrants were arrested after illegally crossing the southern border of the United States.
This was announced by spokesman Chris Olivarez, who also confirmed that two unaccompanied Honduran children had been rescued.

Of these, 11 are women and 8 are men. The most important countries are: Cuba, Nicaragua, Honduras, Ecuador, Haiti, El Salvador, Peru and Venezuela.
It was also confirmed that two unaccompanied youths aged 12 and 14 were traveling in the group. Both were rescued and handed over to the Border Patrol of the aforementioned American state.
Operation lone star
Chris Olivarez ensured that the undocumented migrants were immediately transported to the Val Verde Temporary Processing Center, in Texas.
The speaker also remembers that Operation Lone Star gives Texas police the authority to detain, imprison and deport illegal immigrants to Mexican territory.
Official data shows that in recent days, 94 illegal migrants have been arrested after crossing the southern border.
The controversial work will continue to “maintain the border and protect the people. “There has been a real crisis in Texas for two years because of the influx of migrants to its border with Mexico,” Olivarez said.
A little over a month ago, the Supreme Court decided to temporarily allow the SB4 law to go into effect in Texas. It gives local and state police powers to arrest undocumented migrants who cross the border.
Most of the migrants in detention are Central Americans. There are also thousands of undocumented immigrants from Colombia, Venezuela and Cuba. It is estimated that 23 thousand Cubans arrived in the United States in January amid the immigration crisis.
