The artist expressed her happiness for this achievement from her Facebook page, calling it a “dream come true.” The suits designed by Burke are available at The House of Suits Miami store, in Coral Gables, and stand out for being available in all sizes and intended for all types of women.
The responses from her fans were immediate, most of them encouraging her to continue following her goals. Lena Burke, who began her musical career as her mother’s pianist, revealed that she received a decisive push from Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz in 2003 to start her career as a solo artist. She comes from a lineage of notable actresses, but she didn’t know if she had what it took to be a professional singer.
